The 9/11 Remembrance Breakfast honors and remembers those in Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Emergency Responders and the Military and commemorates the annual Anniversary of the attacks on September 11, 2001.

In 2023, the GenesisGroup was honored to welcome Former Chief of Staff to President George W. Bush Andrew Card.

On September 11, 2001, Card approached President George W. Bush as he was visiting Emma E. Booker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida, and whispered in his ear “A second plane hit the second tower. America is under attack.”  

He spoke about the events of the following days after the attacks and inspired all who attended with a deep appreciation for all those protecting and serving our communities.

Mr. Card said “The Genesis Group is keeping the President’s promise to never forget.“
